Camera moves
- Center the subject with space around it
- Use a clean or simple background for 360 views
- Full body for crane up; face or product for zoom in
- Avoid busy edges that can warp during rotation
Upload one photo and get a ready-made motion effect
Templates are preset motion and camera patterns: 360 view, zoom in, crane up, looping, groove dance, hug and more. Pick one, upload an image, and DomoAI animates it. There’s no prompt to write and no camera to plan.
A template is a pre-built motion pattern that DomoAI applies to your image. The camera move or action is already designed, so you choose the effect instead of describing it. They’re found in Image to Video (“Template Animations”) and on DomoAI’s template pages, and developers can use them through the Domo API.

Filter by type and pick a template to see what it does, what to upload and how to get the best result. The previews are simple illustrations, not DomoAI output.
A sharp JPG or PNG. For hug and kiss, use one photo with two people or two separate photos.
Sign in at domoai.app, then choose Template Animations, or open a template’s own page.

Up to 10 s per generation. Short lengths cost fewer credits.
Most template videos are ready within a few minutes.
Upscale if needed, then add music, captions or chain it with another effect.

Tip: templates animate images. To change the style of an existing video, use Restyle Video instead.

Hug, kiss and kiss-cam templates put real faces into intimate scenes. Treat them seriously:
Pre-built motion and camera patterns, such as 360 view, zoom in, crane up, looping animation, groove dance and hug, that DomoAI applies to your image in one click, with no prompt needed.
The app offers 10+ templates in Image to Video, and the Domo API lists 9: 360_view, zoom_in, crane_up, looping_animation, groove_dance, hug, kiss, kissing_screen and french_kiss.
JPG, JPEG or PNG, ideally high resolution. For hug and kiss templates, DomoAI asks for images over 300 px and up to 10 MB: either one photo with two people or two separate photos.
Up to 10 seconds per generation. For longer edits, chain several clips together in your editor.
In the app, credits depend on length, and the exact cost shows before you generate. Through the API, templates cost 2 credits per second at $0.02 per credit, so a 5-second clip costs about $0.20.
Not in a single render. Generate the first effect, download it, then use a frame or the result as the input for a second effect, or combine clips in an editor.
Templates animate images. To change the look of an existing video, use Restyle Video; to copy a movement from a clip, use Character Animation.
Only with the clear permission of everyone shown, and never with photos of minors in romantic templates. Don’t use them to embarrass or deceive anyone, and label AI-generated content.
